City Government of Tacloban organized a Grand Barangayan
LOOK: To coincide with Mayor Alfred S. Romualdez’s Birthday on January 14, the City Government of Tacloban organized a Grand Barangayan for the residents of 18 relocation sites in the northern part of the City.
Residents who trooped to the St. Francis Basketball Court in Barangay Suhi availed of the free frontline services of the local government such as, free live birth registration, dental and medical consultation, veterinary services and grooming services, among others.
Lending their services to the Barangay Outreach Program along with City Government workers and officials was the Mayor’s son Raymund Romualdez and City Councilors Brian Granados, Dalisay Erpe, Elvira Casal and Aimee Grafil.
An assortment of goods was also distributed to the 1,500 Taclobanons presents during the barangayan.
Meanwhile, the City Government is set to conduct another ‘Barangayan’ the week after next to ensure that all its basic front-line services will be brought closer to the barangays.
