Resbakuna expands its #COVID19 vaccination drive, as the New Kawayan District Health Center and Birthing Facility, once again, brought the inoculation at its doorstep today, (September 30) to serve its covered communities.

This effort was done to lessen the transportation fare and waiting time of Taclobanons at the two mall jab sites. Considered to be the health district’s second attempt, the rollout initiative has been successfully managed.

Four barangays were called upon to have their residents vaccinated, namely barangays 108 Tagpuro; 107 Santa Elena; 102 Old Kawayan; and 101 New Kawayan. Around 337 were elated to receive their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine brand since most of them have been waiting for months just to be inoculated, the DHC coordinator disclosed.

With this approach, all district health centers in this city will eventually be able to do the same to achieve population protection by the end of this year. To date, New Kawayan and two other district health centers (DHCs), such as Diit and V&G have adopted the said campaign.
