The celebration aims to promote facts in preventing the spread of this horrifying disease targeting animals including man’s best friend- our pet dogs. The Tacloban City Veterinary Office led by Dra. Eunice Alcantara gave anti-rabies shots to fur babies as early as 8 in the morning and will run until 3 in the afternoon.

The City Vet will also conduct neuter and spay on at least 50 dogs for today’s activity. Vaccination, neuter and spay are regularly offered by the Tacloban City Veterinary Office.
