Twenty-nine (29) Taclobanon beneficiaries of the Community Livelihood and Extention Program (CLEP) graduated from a three-day livelihood training in a culmination activity held at Brgy. 103, Palanog, yesterday, July 26, 2021.

Mayor Alfred S. Romualdez, who has always been supportive to livelihood programs particularly in Tacloban North, addressed the beneficiaries by emphasizing the significance of job, business, and livelihood amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, noting that the livelihood trainings that the local government provides are aimed at empowering them to help themselves in attaining better lives.

Meanwhile, the continued partnership of CLEP and Operation Blessing has been consistent in the promotion of livelihood programs in Tacloban by providing trainings such as food processing, hair cutting, and cosmetology.

Meantime, said culmination event which was led by CLEP Head Ms. Ruena Mate was also graced by Hiraya Foundation President Raymund Romualdez.
