Public Market reports 2 Million increase in income
TACLOBAN CITY — An additional income of 2 million pesos was reported by the Market Administration for July and August this year.
This was confirmed by Officer-in-Charge of the Market Operations, Joel Bugho who said in an interview on Monday, September23, that for July and August, the Tacloban Super Market has recorded an average monthly income of two million pesos.

However, Bugho explained the reason why the monthly income for August of this year has plunged down to nearly Php200,000.

Meantime, the office will start the on-the-spot inspection of establishments within the public market for the ‘Operation Timbangan’ this coming October, November, and December to check the accuracy of weighing scales, and ensure the protection of consumers against deceptive and unfair sales practices during the holidays. – C.
