UPDATE: With regards to the recent cases of snatching at the downtown area involving three unidentified men, the Tacloban City Police Office (TCPO) has assured the public that it is conducting hot pursuit operations and investigation and has increased police presence/visibility in strategic areas.
The Police Office further encouraged the public to be vigilant and alert at all times, and report any crime-related incident to the nearest police station or through hotline numbers: 0917-631-7752 / 0998-991-3699 for immediate police response.
