Tacloban City draws ever closer towards herd immunity as the Tacloban Mobile Vaccination Team targets 299 Pedicab drivers for their first dose of Sinovac. Which was planned and organized by the Office of the City Mayor, and the Business Permit and Licensing Division. Today’s inoculation was held today, September 15, 2021, at City Engineer’s Gymnasium courtesy of Tacloban City Sports Office.

City Mayor Alfred S. Romualdez along with Founder of Hiraya Tacloban, Raymond Romualdez, visited the vaccination site thanking everyone in attendance, moreover the management of Covid-19 cases, and emphasizing the importance of those with local businesses in the advancement of Tacloban as a highly urbanized city. Shortly after, distribution of food assistance to the Pedicab drivers was done and made possible through the offices of CSWDO and CLEP.
