Tacloban City takes another step forward towards herd immunity as the Mobile Vaccination Team inoculates two areas, namely Tacloban City Jail and Barangay 55, El Reposo. Vaccination in Tacloban City Jail started around 9:00 AM wherein 45 female PDLs were fully vaccinated having received their second dose of Sinovac.

Later this day, the Mobile Vaccination Team was scheduled to vaccinate a target of 63 Taclobanons residing at barangay 55, El Reposo, from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM. The vaccination team stationed themselves right outside Redemptorist Church since the area is spacious and accessible to the residents of said barangay.

A senior citizen, 86 years of age can be seen in the last photo getting her first dose of Sinovac. She was personally visited by the vaccination team due to being bedridden. The same goes for any Taclobanon in a similar circumstance, the vaccination is going door-to-door to leave no life at high risk unprotected.
